Ed has over 35 years experience in management. From his start as an operations management trainee with a small Midwestern company, he rose to senior management positions at Burlington Northern, Ryder System, ETMF, G&W Printing, Wales Transportation, White Trucking Company, and Trism, Inc.

Ed joined Burlington Northern as President and CEO of its subsidiary, BN Transport, Inc. Under his leadership, company revenues tripled and profits reached record levels. Much of today's rail-truck intermodal operations were pioneered by Ed during his tenure at BN Transport, Inc.

He was recruited to Ryder System as President and CEO of the Specialized Transportation Division. Ed was responsible for all corporate dedicated contract carriage, common carriers and private fleet management. The division achieved record sales and profits under his leadership.

ETMF recruited Ed as President & CEO. The nationwide company, with annual sales of $230million, was then the 12th largest motor carrier in the nation. G&W Printing, Wales Transportation and White Trucking Company were purchased as Mr. McCormick's own companies. As Chairman & CEO, he successfully managed these companies for several years before selling them. Earlier, Mr. McCormick received wide recognition for the successful completion of a major consulting project with Southern Pacific Company.

Immediately prior to his current position, Ed was Chairman, President and CEO of Trism, Inc. Trism was, during his tenure, the largest specialized & logistic trucking company in the USA. As CEO, he successfully led the company through a major financial reorganization.
